About us

The Helping Hands Program was initially founded within sri lanka by a Selundhthamizh Charitable Foundation and SDG Youth Council of Passara (SUNFO) in 2021. As the project grew we felt it should be a separate independent entity and as such Helping Hands Program Helping Hands team was born. Some years later, our consultancy firm still lends its resources, expertise and finances to the project even though it’s operated as a separate organisation.

Helping Hands Program Selundhthamizh Charitable Foundation and SDG Youth Council of Passara (SUNFO) is a registered company within Sri lanka. It is best defined as a Social Enterprise. Our main goal is to maximise our impact in the world by getting involved in and funding life-changing charity projects.

Helping Hands is registered as an ordinary Selundhthamizh Charitable Foundation and SDG Youth Council of Passara (SUNFO) within sri lanka but there is nothing ordinary about the way we operate. We put social impact ahead of profit and everything we do revolves around maximising our impact in the world.

Our Mission (Selundhthamizh Charitable Foundation)
